A Day of Sacred Crafting

Join us to create sacred medicine tools as a community. We will do ceremony, envision our projects, plan for success, laugh, eat, and celebrate the beauty that unfolds from our hands and hearts.

I will guide you as much or as little as you need. I have plenty of tools, lacing, beads and feathers to create with, or to add finishing touches to a medicine tool you already have. Join us as we honor our sacred tools and our visions.

What you can make

• Start a rawhide rattle (this takes two crafting days)
• Cover the handhold of your drum with soft leather or fur
• Decorate your beater with leather or fur, or create a new one
• Create a feather drop for your drum or rattle
• Create a feather smudge plume
• Create a leather medicine bag
• Or bring an unfinished drum or rattle, and we will finish it together

Starting a rattle?

Please call Cyndy ahead of time so she can soak the rawhide in your shape: Bear, Buffalo, Wolf Howling at the Moon, Butterfly, Heart, Arrow, Eternal Flame, Full Moon or Crescent Moon. Bring your calendar, and we will choose a second day to finish your rattle.
